Belly Bali

Bali... what can I say about that island after my trip..? Very big island, very pack, very hawt! We rent a bike to make it easier for us to move around. EASY? not even close! The roads were extremely pack pack pack and the traffic lights, very little can be found. We went to Tanah Lot by bike and it took an hour and a half to get there. Unlucky for us by the time we got there the sun was already settled in. So, no sunset for us :( but we still get to see the temple and the beach. Very nice...

Hotels: For those who's money is never enough but still wanna spend like nobody's business like mua, Pelasa Hotel is highly recommended. Very clean room despite of old furniture and buildings. I like how there decor it tho'! Very kampong chic at only Rp.200,000 per nite. Plus, they also give free airport transfer and A class friendly services.

We also stayed in Puri Asih Hotel. This was the big spoiler during our trip. Rp.400,000 per nite and no electric kettle. They couldn't even provide us hot water or cup. Washroom smells like shit! Good thing  that they have 62 clear tv channels in the room. Every single day they kept on ringin' us askin' for confirmation shit and all. Eventho' we've already stated clearly from the beginning what we want. Then, their shitty housekeeping keeps on collecting our towels without giving us the new ones. Bloody hell!! Only thing that make me stayed there was because of the strategic location. It's right in the centre of Kuta Street. Makes it easier for us to move around. And me, don't have to drag the scooter where ever I go. tiiihiiiii.... Walking distance to the hottest shopping area and the beach.
Maybe I just can't stand too many human being around me. Every single day my head aches. Good thing I have my masseurs along. :)  So no worries on that department. Shopping was great. All the surf brand stuff were freakin' cheap. Way cheaper than Singapore and way more varieties. Lucky for us that we found the factory outlet. So we manage to get stuff way cheaper than what they sell in Kuta. You can find Paul Smith, D&G, Polo etc boutique just anywhere in Bali. Really, there were lots of 'em there. Not sure if it's fake or not but everything looks real tho'.Even the sales person were wearing their uniform. So it's real I guess.
I suppose if we're planning to go round the island it's better to go to the local travel agent as they makes it easier for you. With transport, gas and pak supir (driver) you only need to pay cheap price and sit& relax while they take you there. We paid Rp.550,000 for a day trip for the 4 of us.

The food there's was not as cheap as what I've been hearing. Well, if we're don't make a big of a deal about the cleanliness, it might be cheap for us. Even though I love Warongs, but over there, I just can't take it. Every where I see is just filth. So end up, we just ate at the hotels, McD and KFC for the whole week.

The beach have a nice wave. Unlike Labuan you can only find baby wave. Bali is one of the surfer paradise anyway. I love the beach as there are many things for you to do and see while sun-tanning. hehehe.

Almost forgot, the art stuff there was not only cheap, but very nice too. By cheap I mean extremely cheap! I bought myself 4 oil paintings, bajillions of accessories, and a coconut music thing for Mea. Lotsa dresses for Mea and I. Got my Steve Madden wedges for less than RM100. A week in Bali I got 5 shoes. Owh how I love thee....

I guess that's it I can say/remember. Shopping there was great! Next time going to Bali, remember to bring lotsa cash - for your shopping that is! On second thought, there probably will be no next time. I rather go someplace else. :P
